Paul Francis Wood is a music producer, songwriter, and artist collaborator based in Boorloo (Perth), Western Australia, with over 30 years of experience shaping sound across indie, alternative, electronic, folk, rock and alt-country.
Over three decades, Paul has built a reputation for bringing out the best in the artists he works with; creating space for ideas to breathe while guiding recordings toward something lasting. His work spans intimate singer-songwriter recordings to layered alternative, electronic, and alt-country productions, across many genres with a production sensibility rooted in careful listening and a deep respect for the song.
Based out of his studio in Perth, Paul has collaborated with a wide range of independent artists across Australia, contributing as a producer, co-writer, and creative partner on aria charting projects. His approach remains, as always, in service of the artist's vision.
Whether working from a rough demo or building something from the ground up, Paul brings the same commitment to every session; honest ears, considered craft, and a genuine investment in the work.
